Why is my AC blowing warm air?
Cold air in, warm air out. When your AC blows air that feels the same temperature as the room, or warmer, something is interrupting the cooling cycle.

If you find ice, switch the system OFF, run the fan to thaw it, and replace the filter before restarting. Give it plenty of time, a fully frozen coil can take a few hours to melt. Also inspect the outdoor unit: if the condenser fan isn’t spinning or the coil fins are packed with debris, the system can’t reject heat and the air indoors stays warm. Keep two feet of clearance around the outdoor unit and rinse the fins gently with a hose (power off). You may hear hissing or bubbling near the lines or see oily residue at a leak point.
