Locate the filling loop, usually a silver braided hose with a valve or valves near or under the boiler, or an integrated keyed valve on some models. Open the valve or valves slowly and watch the pressure gauge climb; close them firmly once you reach about 1.2 to 1.5 bar. Turn the boiler back on and it should now fire normally. Some boilers require you to reset them after a low-pressure lockout. Always follow the specific instructions in your boiler’s manual, as filling loop designs differ between brands.
